Who Am I? Finding Your Potential In A Cosmos Of Comparison

Do you ever wonder who you really are? Do you ever struggle with whether you’re meant for something greater?
Do you ever feel like you’re just living life with no real purpose, never feeling like you’re living up to your full potential? Or, do I even have potential?
I’ve felt like that for years–wondering if I had any potential. One of my biggest struggles has been comparing myself to my big brother, who is Mister leader himself. He's lead thousands to the Lord, prayed for someone who had died and saw him raise from the dead (not kidding), trained over 10,000 leaders and has spoken all over the world.
That's a lot to try and live up to. But, here's the point, I'm not supposed to live up to someone else's potential.
I’ve been afraid to live up to my full potential, even believing I didn’t have potential. Fear of failing, fear of the unknown, fear of rejection from others plagued me. I was not seeing myself as God sees me.
He sees us–fearfully and wonderfully made (from Psalms 139:14).
You know fearfully in this passage means: to cause astonishment and awe; be held in awe. And, wonderfully means: to be distinct, be distinguished and to be wonderful.
God created us unique, distinct and distinguished!
He looks at you and is in awe of you–His creation–His child!
He’s so in love with us, He gave His only son, Jesus, to die in our place (John 3:16)! He thinks that highly of us!
If we don’t see ourselves like this, how do we change our view of ourselves? Start believing what God says about us in His Word.

Speak
Start speaking these scriptures over yourself.
This is a key to changing the way you see yourself.
Remind
When those feelings of not being good enough, feelings of fear, feelings of doubt, feeling you’re not gifted, feeling like you have no purpose, remind yourself what your Father says about you.
He’s the one that made you; His opinion counts most.
FYI–I’ve changed all the pronouns to be personalized to you and your Heavenly Father, so when you read these scriptures and speak them out loud, you'll be speaking to Him what He says about you.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:13-14 NKJV

For You so loved me that You gave Your only begotten Son, that because I believe in You I will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV
But I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy person, Your own special person, that I may proclaim the praises of You who called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV
For I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which You prepared beforehand that I should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
I have received a gift, I minister it to others, as a good steward of Your manifold grace. 1 Peter 4:10-11 NKJV
So I have not received a spirit that makes me a fearful slave. Instead, I received Your Spirit when You adopted me as Your own child. Now I call You, "Abba, Father." (Abba means daddy or papa. He’s your Daddy.) Romans 8:15 NLT
